Relics of Phra Sivali

Phra Sivali was a monk known for receiving the most offerings, and whoever that travels with him does not have to worry about the lack of provisions. Many Buddhist keep an image of Sivali in their home as a symbol of abundance of food and prosperity.

Sivali’s good merits go back to aeons before Gautama Buddha. He aspired to be foremost among monks in obtaining requisites. He donated curd and honey upon knowing that it was for the Buddha’s and Sangha’s consumption.

Upon being admitted into the Noble Order to pursue Nirvana, Suriputra advised Sivali to meditate on the impurities of the body and as soon as his hair was completely shaven, Sivali became an Arahan, having removed all causes for future becoming, will not reborn after biological death into any samsaric realm. Wat Ananda Metyarama is blessed to be able to offer this rare opportunity to devotees.

LUANG PHOR TUAD (Gold / Black) – 3 Inches / 5 Inches

Luang Phor Tuad began to learn about the Buddhism in a temple nearby at the age of 5 years old. He became a monk at the age of 12 years old and devoted his life to study the Dhamma.

In his lifetime, he (with great pāramīs) saved the lives of many through what laypeople will consider miraculous. His image and amulets are a symbol of safety, and a remembrance to all the virtues of pāramīs.
